Winterail 2007

Winterail is the premier railroad multi-media photography show in the United States. Now in its 26th year, Winterail has evolved from a small gathering of about 100 local railfans to an event that regularly sells out a 1,100 seat auditorium. The multi-media show opens at noon on Saturday March 10, breaks for dinner, and ends at 10pm. The event features multi-projector synchronized slide shows and movies all with sound tracks. The presentations range in length from 5 to 30 minutes and cover the entire range of prototype railroading in North America. The presentations routinely include the best vintage and current railfan photography in the US and Canada.

For years Winterail has included a large railroadania swap meet during the day. Several other events have grown up around Winterail including a Railroad Prototype Modelers meet hosted by Sunshine Models on Sunday the day after Winterail.

This is undoubtedly one of the highlights of the year for anyone interested in railfanning - don't miss it!
